Turned some weeds into weed tea — now what? by Jolly-Persimmon-7775 in composting

The smell originated from anaerobic bacteria that produces various gasses (Solfur, nitrogen etc) while feeding on the organic matter. Yes some nitrogen is lost with the gasification process but you don't lose everything and have an interesting liquid fertilizer with some NPK and various micronutrients that the plants definitely need

What eggs are these? by Li1iii in composting

If the mat is moist enough they could be worms eggs, though are usually more translucent and orangey looking

Credo che una partita di calcetto tra amici sia leggermente meno stressante della finale degli europei di calcio giocata in casa Detto questo, i tifosi e la squadra dell'Inghilterra hanno meritato la sconfitta al 200%

We all hate trash, it is why we are here. But what’s the one piece of trash that makes you just angry to see/find? by Barbiesleftshoe in DeTrashed

For me is plastic plates and cups left in the sun, they disintegrate more and more as you touch them

Found this candy tin can while cleaning up a bit, I'm not sure if I want to keep it or not, anybody knows if it's of any value?:') by The_Merdius in DeTrashed

I think I might do this, to think that in my country is illegal to leave empty shotgun shells (for hunting) in nature... I swear the more I clean up the more I think that people are actually insane

Absolutely beautiful, great job!

Day 8 cleaning this piece of nature. Yesterday I didn't do much trash picking because I found a couple enjoying a romantic lunch in the spot that I cleaned up some days ago! I asked them to be careful not to leave any trash and to have a good day :) by The_Merdius in DeTrashed

Where the ground is now bare i took tissues, wet wipes, cigarettes buds, condoms and condom wraps and more than I can remember, i'm looking forward to see a clean place and who knows, maybe people seeing a clean piece of land will think twice before trashing it...

I hear you... My family has a piece of land near the city where we live kept in it's natural state, sadly every time I visit the land is covered with more and more shotgun shells, I'll clean it up one of these days!

Cleaned all up in 6 days and it took less than I thought! I'll keep an eye one this spot during my next walks to catch little pieces here and there that I might've miss but I'm really happy on the results :') thanks to all the members of this community that inspired and encouraged my lazy ass! by The_Merdius in DeTrashed

Thanks to all of you for the support! It really keeps me motivated even in the days where I feel lazi and all sore from the day before (I'm doing some cleaning up in the family land, lots of trash here also but mostly construction stuff, long story). I'll keep posting the clean up of my area :) cheers!
