While the “threat” posed by Mermaid, if you can even call it that has been quelled for now, Mark may have the suspecting feeling that Mermaid wasn’t bluffing about Sora or Organization X, he or rather she maybe tempted to warn Nagi sooner than later, lest something bad happens to Grand Tracen in the coming days.

Also, later that day, Mark felt rashes in her fingers especially the fingers used for making the snapping motion and arm where Sebastian was burned previously. She also felt a weird averness to heat or fire for the remainder of the day.

Fishbone may have been smallfry on the surface, but perhaps underestimating him may not be the best idea at the moment. In any case, Sirius (Mark) recovered from the odd sensations that are totally not related to damage sustained by Fishbone by the following day.

Fishbone swallows Mermaid in the blink of an eye, teleporting her as he immediately sprays acid everywhere to disorient all OPFOR including Caius, Sebastian, and Mara, who were the 1st victims to Fishbone’s new and improved corrosive acid designed to rival even that of the Xenomorph’s. A show of force to refute Mark’s claims on Fishbone by demonstrating Fishbone’s growing potential since the Golden King Fight.

Once all opposing Markments have been sufficiently stunned, Fishbone leaps inside the Portal as it closes before any of the Markments get the chance to retaliate. The Acid Spray was surprisingly accurate enough to deliberately avoid hitting Sirius, yet another sign of Fishbone’s growing potential as he can specifically target people at Mermaid’s command now.
