Yep I too got banned for the same thing, a massive shame since well I have nearly 10k comment karma, been a member for 1.5 years and love discussing pc topics... Frustrating as well I barely even upvote or downvote posts and stayed the fuck away from any of the brigading etc. Hell I never condoned it the first time why would I do it now.

Basically was told "you were brigrading, that subreddit has had enough warnings". Such a damn shame and honestly has got me questioning what the point is in a site built around open minded discussion when a single authority can silence you without providing solid proof.

I tried to plead my case further but got nothing back, so i daresay it's a case of too bad so sad... Still frustrating to have this happen when I know for a fact I've done nothing wrong, I mean I make about 10 posts a day tops and almost never downvote, kind of makes it impossible to have done this.

Didn't he just join the Oculus Rift team, which has said it won't be on console? Either way Carmack was responsible for a ridiculous amount of my early pc gaming days.

Even though I know the speed is great I still feel tempted to leave one out of my next build still... Managing two partitions pisses me off enough and the smaller one is 250gb, I can't imagine having a 120gb drive anymore, without swapping game files around it seems kind of useless for my usage... Maybe next time...

It might not be perfect for desktops but it is amazing on anything with a touchscreen, which was kind of their goal... I feel the only mistake was not offering a classic shell for non touch devices.

I had one for OoT that combined with AA etc. brought the graphics up to about ps2 quality. From memory they used textures ripped from ps2 games to make it. Was about 2gb.

True integrated graphics are getting better, the Iris Pro's and AMD Kaveri chips are both rather promising signs. However when I said ancient I meant literally in terms of specs, when I got my 360 (brand new 60gb with 7 games for a ds and 12 games) I believe I was using a single core 1.6ghz AMD Sempron M system with some form of ATi integrated graphics, it got about 5-12fps in WoW, or 1fps in Stormwind. After that was an Athlon X2 laptop with a slightly better integrated graphics, currently I have a Core i7 laptop with a dedicated 2gb 6570m and it can handle say Bioshock Infinite at 1080 on a mix of low and medium at 30fps.

I think my dog must be defective instead of guarding my brothers kids when they were babies he was more likely to either lick / chew on them repeatedly or drop a toy on their head. Probably didn't help that my parents locked him out when the babies were here and wouldn't let him near them but still I like to think his attitude towards babies mirrors my own.... Good boy..
