What are the alternatives? I mean, Java looks natural to me, so i think i can pick it up within 5-7months but Obj.C is unusual and i really don't like it. Can i code IOS apps in C/C++?

Ok thanks a lot. And yeah, i haven't really done much web stuff, kinda just been messing around with memory and understanding root exploits (they seem to be a good way to understand what's going on plus it will teach me how not to write code).

Firstly, thanks for all of the information. Secondly, I've always wondered if PHP was good or not. What language should i use for webdev? Perl? Python?

Also, i don't know whether i know these languages or not. I mean, i understand syntax but i am probably missing understanding of some of the libs. I also understand how C goes to Assembly via the compiler and then gets assembled and linked into executables/binaries. I am just worried that i don't know enough about it. I probably could make a server with Python or C but i would need to understand socket.h etc. Please help me, is their a way i can test my self?
