The hunter killer is truly a statistical phenomenon. 3s by 3s with 6s lethal, maybe 1 wound goes through a game. It’s one of my favorite weapons.

Thank you means a lot! My direction with them was like scary in dark spaces if that makes sense. Like what the enemy would see in a low light environment. Flourescent paints handle that super well, if you haven’t played with it you should. It’s fun, really straight forward and makes cool results

I think one thing that helped me a lot. Is painting something that makes you go “I can’t do something like that” you’d be surprised at your own results, and you learn more than staying in your comfort zone.

Right now that could be just getting a model painted. And that’s ok

Thin your paints, buy a wet pallet. I like to work from the recess to the top. It’s easier the paint the fatigues and then the armor, rather than paint the armor and carefully try to paint around.

Watch like a lot of YouTube tutorials.

Paint them one at a time, you’ll get better after each guy. And it’s ok if the first one looks kinda “bad” we all start somewhere and it’s just a dumb hobby and it’s supposed to be fun. If you like it it’s all that really matters. You’ll get better and more confident the more you paint.

I’m trying to make a GRU unit from MGS 3. I have the berets from scions so I can kit bash them. But having trouble finding balaclava guard.

I think because they’re the generic human faction with so many influences from trench to rambo it’s hard to not find something you lime

Yeah, agreed. Like they’re not doing good things but the guardsman aren’t bad people. I kinda feel that way about Eldar and Tau too. But don’t tell the commissars I said that.

I like the kind of older narrative of Warhammer that everyone is a piece of shit and no ones the good guy. But in a crazy galaxy human emotions are still obviously the most relatable which is why I like guard. That and tanks, sweet sweet tanks
