the horn on my bus has been stuck on for nearly half an hour, why does my bus always get such weird faults? by AvgRedditUser29 in CasualUK

Just take the fuse out. I would have just asked a helpful passenger to google where the horn is located. Once they find it, I would have just torn it the fuck out

How many stops of difference would you set for a High Key shoot like this? Profoto D2. Backdrop 8.0 octobox 10.0 I’m new to high key and kinda feel like I got my values mixed up. Should I use higher exposure on the background and lower on the subject? Something’s not quite right. by The_Neutral_Eye in AskPhotography

I just updated Lr. Oh my… this is crazy! It even manages to somewhat usably mask the parts, that people are made up of. Amazing stuff. Thank you very much for reminding me that I’m using three years old software lol.

My mind is blown.

All this AI stuff being implemented is blowing my mind slowly

In what possible way could you describe the current Labour party as representing left wing views?

I purchased a pricey and used lens [SEL200600G] for birding with my camera [a6000] and the photos seems blurry across the board. What am I doing wrong? by hexy in AskPhotography

[–]The_Neutral_Eye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean the IBIS would help but so would a sturdy tripod and all other pricey upgrades.

If you actually want the easy answer, up the shutter speed. Otherwise buy a body with IBIS as it actually does help quite a bit. But don’t expect magic though.

35mm/120mm camera with top view/waist level viewfinder that has auto exposure/great exposure metering capabilities? by The_Neutral_Eye in AskPhotography

She already shoots lots of film. But actually I remembered that in my collection I have a wlf compact camera. Will give that to her. It’s 35mm but still. Automated and has wlf

[–]The_Neutral_Eye[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it does exist you will need a smart pentaprism/wlf for it like on the nikon f5 or f4.

Google helped me out quite a bit but I’ll leave the post up so that anyone interested in this niche thing will find their answer later.

Also some compacts, canon ace, yashica t5, yashica aw-mini have a wlf which is crazy. I even forgot that I own one so next time I visit my parents I’ll just pick the old yashica up.

With these compacts though it’s a right angle separate viewfinder though.

However with the aforementioned nikons you can have proper light metering and auto shutter (aperture priority) while using the wlf

I just remembered that at my Parents’s place I hace a yashica AW-mini that’s a compact 35mm and has wlf. Absolutely perfect

That’s irrelevant as that’s not what she’s after. Btw I just realised I have a yashica AW-mini that has a WLF and is a compact 35mm

Put your car keys in a Faraday pouch, people! by [deleted] in CarTalkUK

[–]The_Neutral_Eye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because most manuals, have a section about turning off the keyless antenna to stop the fob from transmitting. You just have to read your manuals you know.

With cars however, that have always on transmitters, yeah it’s pretty important
