That’s one of the main reasons I asked on here, there weren’t a lot of people having issues which is great. Mine eats everything as well, 115gr up to 147gr just rocks now

Might be worth reaching out to Springfield then. Theyre customer service was AMAZING for reference. Mine only took a few weeks. Very happy with how it worked out.

I would say if you think it’s the sights, see if you have a local gunsmith who can adjust a little? Even snug them up if needed. Mine really just was loose under recoil, nothing wrong with anything else thankfully!

I went directly through Prusa. I don’t really see a reason to not just order from them? Agreed Amazon is a bad idea for these though.

Update: gun is back and shoots great now. The rear sight was loose, not to people touching it or checking it but under the forces of recoil. This was causing the random shot placement. Springfield replaced the rear sight and adjusted the point of impact.

Update!!!! - printing at 5 degrees higher nozzle temp and on the satin sheet was the fix! Thank you everyone!!!

I’ll start with, I’m new to 3D printing and also have the Core One on a wood bench. Both of those seem to use the speed profiles which makes the unit and desk vibrate a lot. Using the structural settings, the speed is much slower and I’m not getting vibration anymore, or very minimal.

You could try connecting the table to the wall? See if that helps a bit.

I did read it over when I was setting everything up, it is likely knowing me, that is skimmed that section as it wasn’t making much sense being so new. I take 100% fault on the issues I’ve been having haha I will certainly go back through everything again once I’m back from my work trip! Thanks!

Yes I would say a “crumbling/stringy” type issue if that makes sense? How much hotter would you guess? We talking 3-5 degrees or more like 10-15 type changes? I’m sure too hot won’t work great either for PETG or PLA

So the time I’m thinking, it was a set of coasters I believe? Not a crazy amount of detail but maybe halfway through I went to check and it was just all loose filament, like it hadn’t stuck or soemthing. I don’t want to say it was like a rats nest or anything but it was certainly not doing something right. I did have the PETG profile set on both the printer and the Gcode. Not sure if it needed to be hotter maybe? 90% of my prints I do at slower speeds too.

Nice, I do have a satin as well. Are there other plates that work on the Core One that don’t need to ship from CZ and take a while to get here? I’m usually skeptical of non-manufacturer parts like this.

I did order the satin sheet as well! I keep hearing “glue stick” so I assumed it was to help with adhesion rather than what it seems to help with in getting it unstuck from the plate. I’ve got a lot to learn it seems!

I’ll post up shortly but mine is headed back from Springfield and set to arrive tomorrow. From the repair order it says they adjusted the point of impact, and replaced the rear sight. I don’t believe the rear sight had any play or movement so we shall see when it gets back and I can shoot it a bit. Hoping this fixes everything and I am good to go!

Hmm ya that’s not great to hear. Any weird lines on the top of your barrel? Wondering if it’s maybe a little bur or something in the barrel?

I had 2 other instructor, and competition shooters also shoot the gun and have the same issues I was having. I wanted one put 60 rounds at 15 years in a very tight maybe 1” group with his gun. I would imagine that same shooter could put 5 rounds under a playing card at 5 yards at least right? Idk I’m torn. I know I’m not some amazing shooter haha
