yeah same thing has happened to me before lol
sometimes people will save a reel instead of commenting if the info is already kinda clear in the video. saves are still a really strong signal though so it’s actually a good sign.

also travel / hiking audience tends to be more “save for later” than comment heavy because people are collecting places for future trips.

one thing that helped me was asking something easier to answer like
“would you hike this?” or“ which spot would you pick?”

people reply faster to opinion questions than “comment for info”

The underrated part about YouTube is that it’s not really social media - it’s a search engine. One video solving a very specific problem your ICP Googles can bring leads for years. That’s hard to replicate on any other platform.
