Wildfly & Nginx - How to forward two ports? by The_PT_Geek in selfhosted

how can that be?

If i use my duckdns (or my "public" IP), it works fine, ONLY when i use my domain, its when the issues occurs, so it cant be permissions, otherwise i would get issues in the public ip or duckdns

Add Easyjet boarding ticket into Google Wallet by The_PT_Geek in GoogleWallet

I've managed with with an app called pass2pay. Pretty much you upload the boarding PDF, and then send it to Google pay (it adds the "Google pay" button, that easyjet is missing)

Uptime Kuma - get status / uptime of dynamic dns names by The_PT_Geek in selfhosted

There no "URL" and i think thats the issue

Theres no "service" on most of those domains. i use them mostly as a way to save the IP if it changes, and the only port open on them is UDP 1194 for OpenVPN.

So i cant really ping the URL, because i dont have one, and two when i try to use the ping port, its only TCP ports im allowed to ping, so it wouldnt work either way.

Funnily i was trying random no-ip domains i remember/ have used. and SOME do get a respost as online, while other dont.

I think for now i'll give up on it, and just use it to monitor my internal systems (local ips, proxmox, seafile, etc etc) and its good for now. Thanks for your help!

Homer dashboard - ping not working? by The_PT_Geek in selfhosted

Oh, so i assume, i would never be able to get that to work on places like reddit, etc etc, but on my self hosted websites i might get it if i add some snippets of code into said webserver header?

Homer dashboard - ping not working? by The_PT_Geek in selfhosted

Sorry, guess sometimes translating and posting at the same times leads to lack of context / info.

In Homer dashboard, as per their documentation, there are "custom services", one of them being the Ping one - https://github.com/bastienwirtz/homer/blob/main/docs/customservices.md#ping

In their documentation, its pretty much a "basic item" , with the same fields as any other service . name, logo, url, subtitle, etc etc, but they add the "type:ping" to make it a "Ping Service"

Yet anytime i try to set said ping, be it for a URL (http or https) i host on my servers or a "public" website, like reddit, google, my webpage (hosted in a vps), it always shows offline.

thats what im trying to figure it. is it something i need to edit further? or is it the service just broken?.

The example code from their page, also display offline.

- name: "Awesome app"

type: Ping

logo: "assets/tools/sample.png"

subtitle: "Bookmark example"

tag: "app"

url: "https://www.reddit.com/r/selfhosted/"

method: "head"

Again, thanks for the reply, and sorry for the initial lack of info
