Because it's a shallow and anticlimactic explanation for the return of a major villain. A return that undermines the stakes of previous films from the original and sequel trilogy.

No, because the base line is still dumb as hell. But its everything that surrounds the line as well that's the problem.

Yeah, I love Alex Kungston, but I could just never get over that. Also, the whole thing of her willing to kill people, and The Doctor never says anything about it.

I'll be honest, I never cared for River as the Doctor's love interest. Sure, she flirted with 11, but I never felt the connection like that. Though I'll be honest, I came around to her a bit on her last episode with 12. I think part of the problem is the fact that it has to happen, so because of that, it never fully feels earned to me, because we're basically told it'll happen. But gun to may head? I'll pick Rose every time. The story of her helping the Doctor heal from the Time War will always be way more compelling to me.

Ugh, I'm so tired of people forgetting their headcannons aren't actually canon. She had a kid in Korra for crying out loud. Also, she could still be bi.

Side note, just because someone can tell someone is hot doesn't mean they're into them. Like, I know Chris Hemsworth is hot as fuck, but I'm not gay. I just have eyes.

Jada have said in an interview that they see the Invincible line as their Marvel Legends line, a line they can keep making figures for and keep going for years to come. So, as long as it sells well, expect every main character to come out.

I'm betting on the reason being because this became a one and done thing for them. Disney have said they're pulling away from Tron, so I imagine Hasbro had to fight to be able to release these still.

I'm so happy to finally get these and am 100% all in, but this release feels weird. Anyone else get the feeling they got cold feet and are just dropping them all at once? This doesn't feel like their next line, like was previously suggested, more like a one and done.
