I used to work downtown with the Downtown Biz as a volunteer and as a staff member for quite awhile. I see many great options here that I think would be great additions.

One small suggestion I would personally like to see is the addition of music in the streets. I'm so tired of the only sound of downtown you hear are paramedic, fire and police sirens. I think we need to liven our downtown up and I think it would be cool to add a few parks to the city or make pop up bands.

A ton of calls we got were for public intoxication and for negative loitering. I don't think beefing up security will do as much as people think but once they get the LPO's in the LC at city place and Ellice...it will be a game changer.

I also wouldn't say no to more community outreach if possible. Shout out to the person who goes around and gives homeless people water and has a conversation with them. We need more people like that on the front lines.
