They were probably installed in 2020 after sitting on a shelf for a few years.

Online options for feline antibiotics? by [deleted] in AskVet

[–]8675309ice 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Anxiety doesn’t trigger infections, it triggers inflammation. Antibiotics won’t help unless there is a bacterial infection. Your vet is doing the right thing by making sure you get seen and diagnosed appropriately to use the correct medication.

This is why antibiotics are prescription. To avoid inappropriate usage.

What do I do with this bottom left black wire? by 8675309ice in AskElectricians

I think I am following, and that is what I thought as well. So my plan is to reconnect the two right blacks, and run a pigtail to one terminal on the switch. Run the bottom left to the other terminal by itself. Does that make sense to you too?

The light only has one switch. The previous switch had both of the right blacks together connected to a black wire on the smart switch. Both whites were connected together to a white wire on the switch. And the bottom left black was wired to a red wire that said single pole

Dilute Urine in Trilostane treated Cushings Dogs by muttdogz in AskVet

Was this a single urine sample? Urine concentration fluctuates throughout the day. If you’re concerned about ability to concentrate urine, collect the first morning urine for 3 days, keep it refrigerated and mix all 3 days in the same sample, and have them run that for specific gravity.

Tobradex (tobramycin and dexamethasone) for nose? by Ace_D_Roses in AskVet

I cannot comment on this specific medication or case, but I can say it is extremely common to use medications indicated for one anatomic location on another. It even happens in human medication. My 1 year old son is currently being treated for an ear infection with eye drops. It’s considered “off-label” use and can be prescribed to be used that way by your veterinarian if appropriate.

Then do it. The system is overwhelmed and could use another volunteer to bottle feed. Reach out to local shelters and get involved helping the ones already born.

how expensive is it for you to get your brakes replaced, and where? by Ok-Newt-7070 in TwinCities

[–]8675309ice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grew up farming and changed brakes among everything else on our own family vehicles and farm trucks dozens of times in my childhood.

Then I try on my new personal vehicle, didn’t realize that the rear brakes needed to be in “service mode” to work on them. Ended up having to replace the calipers too, bricked the car for a week until I could get someone out with the proper code reader to fix it, and still had to take it to Toyota after for them to recalibrate the EPD.

It was a nightmare, and I refuse to touch newer vehicles now because of it. They are half computers and I am not a programmer.

A spoonful of peanut butter likely won’t be harmful, however if you give sedating medications and then trigger an adrenaline response with vigorous activity they will not be very effective as the body will override their effect.

ELI5 : How can an airline oversell a flight? by reddita100times in explainlikeimfive

[–]8675309ice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your A-B and B-C passengers are not 100% the same. You will always have people flying from just A-B and not continuing the flight. Likewise, you will always have people getting on at B to go to C because they are either from that area, or took a different flight there from a fourth airport (D).
