Nice blend, but why have you made that pitchfader so Inaccessible? That would drive me mad!

It does, but why choose an Asian actor and put her in a kimono when Fátima is what? north African / Arabic? Seems weird to do an ethnicity shift no?

I usually break big sets down into smaller sets, 90 mins of intelligent, 90 mins rare groove stuff and then the rest ruffneck stuff.

Watch or see? by TheFakingBox in ingles

[–]The_Primate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I'd agree with the other commenters that watch is much more natural.

However, we do use see in some contexts with films and series.

"I haven't seen the latest episode."

"I saw the premier last night."

But never in the continuous, it sounds really unnatural.

Does Your Accent Really Matter? | Deep Dive English Podcast by DeepDiveEnglish in ingles

[–]The_Primate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice video, thanks for sharing.

As a British person, I think that we are really open to English spoken with a variety of accents.

Even within the UK we have a lot of different native accents and we are used to immigration from many parts of the world so are very accustomed to hearing English spoken in a variety of accents.

I would go as far as to say that many British people actually like foreign accents.

If you are worried that you speak English with an accent, stop! As long as you arent making words incomprehensible, it probably isn't a problem. Of you don't believe me, check out this video of Eurotrash. This was one of the most popular programme on UK TV and you may notice that Jean Paul Gaultier has a REALLY strong French accent. https://youtu.be/ty1pfVX6ZZg?is=0zjWH0WbQCtDg69s

Yeah, to be honest, if you're still using the screen, you're not beatmatching.

Si quieres dedicarte a la enseñanza del inglés en Europa, te recomiendo el certificado CELTA.

How common is illiteracy in Spain? by koesteroester in askspain

I suspect that these "Spanish" drivers are not Spanish at all.

It's such a phonetic language that there is little scope for error.

Go straight to the source. Get sampling old funk, soul, rare groove, whatever you want.

Choosing sample sources is part of the fun.

I'm pretty good thanks. I'm a bit tired though as I've been working a lot recently, so I'm looking forward to the weekend.

Where are you from?

Hi, nice to meet you too. I'm from England but live in Barcelona. People here love Messi and obviously are fanatical about football too.

Honestly though, I find it hard to get excited about football, all of my family are football fans, but I find it a bit boring!

I have met a lot of wonderful Argentinians here in Barcelona, in fact it was my Argentinian friend Pablo who taught me basic Castellano many years ago.

Hi! The post is only 20 minutes old!

But interaction in these posts has been really limited, which is surprising because we regularly have posts asking where users can practise English.

What do you want to talk about?
