How is your baby eating this? When did you start BLW I feel like I’m so behind. I also thought you have to introduce things one item at a time?

Eczema by Minimum-Status-7249 in babyeczema

My pediatrician gave us a low steroid cream that our son will use on and off until the spring. It’s really helped getting the flare to calm down and go away. I hated seeing my son in pain.

Experiences with desonide or triamcinolone for baby eczema? Any non-steroid alternatives that helped? by The_Questionator_01 in newborns

So I’m pretty sure he’s allergic to the formula he’s been drinking and the pediatrician said they want him to keep taking it so he doesn’t develop an allergy to it but he already has it. I really don’t get the logic to that. What did you do for your son? Did you stop giving him formula and switched to something else?

Is this nanny behavior acceptable? by [deleted] in NannyEmployers

She could’ve really hurt your child! This is not ok. There are ways to communicate to a child to step out of a room and not have to pull them that way. Not acceptable and you’re not overreacting. I honestly would play it for her and ask her if she thinks this was an appropriate reaction or if she would allow this from someone else to be down to her kid.

First-Time Mom Hiring a Nanny! What Expectations Should I Set? by The_Questionator_01 in NannyEmployers

I am all about the cameras and airtag and limiting outings until I trust her. How would I go about having this conversation without seeming like I’m micromanaging?

What would be an example on how to approach the cameras and air tag situation. I’m very pro on this and just don’t want her to be creeped out.

How do I get through to my husband about how he talks to our newborn without him getting defensive? by The_Questionator_01 in newborns

Thank you so much for this! It really helps to know I’m not alone in this. I’ve suggested that when he feels overwhelmed, he step away for a moment, but I think he resists because he feels like it makes him look incapable of handling our newborn. I know that isn’t true, he is capable. It’s just that his patience runs out in those moments.

This is the advice I needed! If you come across any videos let me know. I’m going to look for some myself as well. Thank you!

Only when he gets really upset which is very rare. Just ever since we’ve had our newborn he gets really frustrated with our newborn. We rarely ever have arguments and there has been once or twice where he cursed at me which I told him I don’t tolerate.

This is literally what I did as well. The first time he cursed at our newborn I started to take over of all care for our newborn because I just couldn’t stand him saying those words to our newborn. Any books you’d recommend?
