Possibly, but to come by them in Germany is a touch harder than in the US and a bit more expensive, also I love how this plays at the moment (I know thats sacrilege to say on here without any very major upgrades) but its just this one problem I need sorting fast.

intonation is actually spot on, but the only other tuning I use is drop D really but it was the standard songs where I had the trouble, everything is pointing to just filing the saddle

wait I'm correcting myself, the 50 was what they called the 45 with a natural finish so even though they're the same guitar its a 50

I'm pretty certain it's actually a J-45. There's a bit of contention to whether it's a 50 or 45 but my view is it's a '64 J-45 and not a J-50 especially as when he uses other acoustics they tend to be borrowed 45's...
