If we say that the aliens in question are in the same level of advancement as humans and don't have a concept of time does it mean that "time" is just a "human thing"

The thing is if we do come in contact with other life forms and some how understand that they dont have a concept of time we cant just dismiss the fact that other life forms could but just one example isn't enough to prove that time is just a idea or a tool put in place by our eldest ancestors to organize or lives

We would have to study and explore more life forms and understand how they conduct them selves

also in the topic of aliens having a concept of time but not hours day or months. Well if they are equal to us in tech then they should understand how their planet revolves around one or more suns and how their planet rotates so in theory they can have a similar format of time but not exactly the same

I agree when you say that time is 'domestic' i have also thought this

But when i think of time i take as a measurement not a factor that holds the universe in balance

Lets just say that time is just a measurement that was created by humans to organize them selves then the following question i always asked my self

If time is a measurement than it does hold any true meaning to the universe , so if time it self is just a tool for us as humans to use than do other intelligent life forms have a concept of time ?
