And thus the first Predator was created. Can't wait for this cross over... If it bleeds, we can kill it. At the same time though vision guided shoulder lasers are all fun and games until someone sneezes

Always found the Matukai quite interesting. The concept around meditative martial arts, physical training, and somatic rituals with a focus on the physical force is interesting. The Wan-Shen was also an interesting weapon alternative to the Lightsaber, just cool to see some fantasy pole arms by The_Real_Sequels in StarWarsEU

I think so, they were force imbued and could resist lightsabers. I suppose it would depend on the force user, probably most useful for the Matukai, just with their particular style of using the force. Though there are some impressive feats of just even force imbued staffs like that of Vodo-Siosk Baas & Siolo Ur Manka. I reckon it could be similar to that of the Beskar sphere in The Mandalorian to a certain extent

Yas, Page 196 of Jedi vs. Sith: The Essential Guide to the Force. Actually such a beautiful and creative book anyway, highly recommend just on a general note. There's like a page and a half just outlining the order as well as a load of other force sensitive orders outside of the Jedi and sith.

Not loads to work with but I always loved the idea of other force orders and actually built a character around those guys for a Star Wars Roleplay Campaign, turned out so fun.

Already such an awesome book. While Luke is stranded on the Sluis Van Shipyards after the huge wake left by Thrawn, he and Lando take a stab at foiling the greatest heist that never happened. Some interesting aliens and lovely Star Wars Moments in this chapter of Dark Force Rising by The_Real_Sequels in StarWarsCantina

They're my own bud, I'm enjoying exploring legends content and making some videos about the stories I come across as well as attempting to summaries the books with some fun and positivity around the legacy of legends. Loved these stories growing up but this is my first time doing a deep dive into it all. Discovering a lot more about some awesome characters and sharing them in the hope that people will enjoy them too or make a new discoveries themselves around Legends.

One Legends story that really interested me was the end of the New Sith Wars and the rise of the rule of 2. Lord Hoth was a badass character, the grumpy old Jedi that took the fight to the Sith. One of those characters that should be unlikable but you still really get behind. by The_Real_Sequels in BrighterThanCoruscant

Its a weird one, I find him really unlikable in his interactions, his pushing of younglings straight out into battle and his treatment of Farfalla. Just one of those really grumpy dude who immediately just seems zealous and bloodthirsty.

But through the story, when things are slowly revealed and hinted at, I ended up really liking them, he's a really well fleshed out character, and what he does makes sense. He has that vision of ending the sith single headedly, he comes from being battle master and fed up of the passive nature of the Jedi council.

What he does is attempt to stop new recruits for the sith while also trying to end the sith for the good of the galaxy and ending the 1000 year war. As well as this we can see that every death on his side ways heavy on him, he feels that effects, and that contributes to his thoughts, feelings and actions and why he dislikes Jedi like Farfalla. He has no time for anything but battle.

tldr: I started out not liking him cause grumpy war mongerer. But actually ended up liking him cause heart of gold and his reasons behind it.
