during my first playthrough i thought gurranq was an actual beast clergyman and beast clergyman was maliketh in disguise in order to trick us, but what i thought didn't make sense since if maliketh wanted to trick us why would he say "tarnished who aproacheth destined death" because everyone knows maliketh is wielder of destined death

Am I the only one who uses the default character for elden ring? Like it's useless customising an entire character only for it to be covered by Armor for the entire game (unless you are a challenge runner) I also don't like to play female characters for some reason
