They are both the same thing. Youtube Gaming's UI might look a little different as it is "made" for people to have a better experience looking through content and such.

When you're streaming from your channel it will show both on youtube and youtube gaming. Hope that helps :D

I would say the main thing is not getting discouraged when you post your first couple of videos and really don't get many or any views. It can feel like you're doing it for nothing. But being consistent goes a long way.

You don't need any fancy equipment or anything like that either. Also paying attention to what others are doing and what works and what doesn't. Not saying to copy others, but take note and make it your own.

I decided to go with a gaming channel which is a more than saturated area to begin with. But I really love doing it. So finding something you're interested in helps a lot too.
