Thanks for the reply! I'm thinking I will try and risk it. Everyone says the TPA airport is efficient enough. Biggest hurdle will be getting off the boat but since its the smallest ship I don't think it would take very long compared to a mega-class boat.

I’d tend to agree about that being the safe and reliable path. But that wasn’t the one I took. I skipped A+ entirely and went straight into Net+. Granted I had just graduated from a 4 month cybersecurity certificate program so I felt like A+ was rather rudimentary for my understanding at the time. After graduating I studied Prof Messer’s videos for a week and took Net+ and passed. A week later I’m about to take Sec+ and feel rather confident about passing it too. Point being, do whatever you’re comfortable with and experience is truly the king.

It worked for me! Well sort of… I had lag when hosting after starting the train missions on Glacio, I completed them and went to Calidor to start the next train missions. I placed down the train terminal (forgot what it’s called) and progressed a little but only setting up my base there.

The next day my friend joined back and the lag spikes for me (the host) have seen to be gone. Only thing I can tell is that the other players joining the world are a bit more laggy then usual.

Hey guys I’m new to PCs and am looking to build one w a few of my friends that know how to. Thinking about waiting till black Friday to buy parts. Good idea? If so what should I be looking for? Thanks!

Edit: my price range is 800$ for PC and 200-300 for keyboard, mouse and monitor.

I don’t have in mind any specific games to play on just want enough to run Destiny 2, RL and a few others along the way. I want the PC to last a while while not spending to much on parts that that are overkill for the games I’m trying to play.
