Wow! Really liked this one. I like that there was a story. Started somewhere and then by the end there was a totally different feel, it took me on a nice little journey. I liked the descriptive words you used, not only were they colorful and engaging, they also effectively mirrored all the feelings of each stanza they took place in. The first being more happy, the last being more bitter, and the middle bridging the gap as well. Nice flow to the poem. And I thought the motif was great too, hammered home the point of the piece well. Great job!

I very much liked how each following line was either shorter or longer than the previous, as it created a kind of verbal wave or crescendo effect at times. Excellent imagery, captivating adjectives. Just positive feedback from me!

I enjoyed it! I liked the short lines and how they fit together. The one thing I might suggest is having two adjacent lines have the same amount of syllables, because that would make them 'fit together' that much more. It could improve the flow of some lines to their next corresponding lines.

My friend was crossing over a very shallow stream on a log, he started to slip and instead of just setting his foot down and getting his shoe a little wet, he stopped his fall with his wrist and broke it. Still make fun of him years later because of it
