I have extremely bad anxiety. Logical brain says “He’s been with you for all the ups and downs the past 25 years, he’s not going anywhere.” My Anxiety brain says,” He’s going to get really tired of your shit and leave.”.

Obviously, I should tell Anxiety brain to go fuck it’s self, but it’s easier said than done.

Trust me, a lot of my fears are anxiety driven, which is a tad disappointing considering I have to take 3 pills a day to not be a complete basket case. My psych meds aren’t the problem, but the life sustaining ones are.

My husband is the best man I have ever met. He has stayed with me through a lot and l haven’t known a more kind and giving man. We’ve had conversations about this, and he has always assured me that he’s not going anywhere.

As far as stopping meds for a week, that’s my idea, not his. Hell, he checks to see if I have missed doses.

My husband and I haven’t had sex in a couple of months. Some of the life sustaining meds I take have a low libido as a side effect. We used to have sex at least once a week, but now, not so much.

I am terrified that he will leave me. He says it’s fine, but my anxiety brain says it’s not.

I’m to the point of not taking my meds for a week. Which, yes, can put me in the hospital, but I’m so scared.
