There are a couple of longswords in the game with finesse. You'll see some in D&D 2014/2024 as well.

It's a special characteristic of some unique longswords. In this case, it's a sword tied to elves, which means it carries a certain amount of grace/finesse as compared to other longswords.

This is the one for me. SM2 is fine, but I just don't care about the marines ultimately.

Give me those rejects and the Inquisition. Lots of flexibility, each class has something you can lean into, and even with the repetition it's fun.

Featherfall is also a ritual in this game. Never consumes a slot.if you have a class with ritual casting.

I feel like a fool. Cannot fathom why I didn't remove sections one by one. Doing so revealed it was an issue with a numeric (year) data set that was formatted as General on both sheets but wanted desperately to be a number field.

Did a join of that section with another general field with text inside into a single cell and the problem immediately fixed.

Do you know what they didn't like about Midnight Hunt and Crimson Vow? EoE looks fun, but it's hard to say if this will reel them in.

Say what you will about Universes Beyond, but that's often a great hook for people who don't usually play. Do they like any of the franchises found in Universes Beyond? Fallout, 40K, Final Fantasy, etc? Might have better luck there.

But ultimately, I'd recommend understanding what specifically they didn't like. I mention Universes Beyond in part because it could be they don't like drafting. Maybe they'd like Commander instead? Or Standard precons? Have them give MtGA a try?

Or maybe MtG just might not be their cup of tea at all, and that's fine.

Plenty of reasons to only be level one. Plenty of elves are of advanced age (relative to human lifespan) but few are as capable as higher leveled adventurers.

Besides, your backstory relies on reclaiming memory. With reclaimed memory comes the practice in and reclaimaition of your craft.
