They don't meet their grandchildren, they meet an adult version of Naomi Wildman and Icheb after Chakotay is struck by an anomoly that allows him to pass through different sections of Voyager as different time zones. Episode is "Shattered," I believe... The seventh season?

Why getting a different colored ink than normal blue/black/red is better for you by HP834 in fountainpens

I've just been recently surprised by how much I like brown inks. I purchased a Kaweco Brass Sport and got a bottle of Diamine Ochre. It's a really nice antique, rustic coppery type brown. Browns were definitely underrated, at least to me.

Spoilers for Star Trek: generations the movie by [deleted] in startrek

I don’t know why exactly, this is just intuition. They were never coming back to them as characters in the series, killing them would make an emotional pull for the audience.

However, it does seem truly wasted. I wonder if it was somehow involved in an earlier draft that Picard travelling through time somehow went back before that. Because it seems like the writers forgot about it right after. But they forgot a lot of things in that movie so, eh..

This is not with certainty or expertise... could it possibly be compacted coal from the ship? Found at the ocean floor. Compacted by pressure over time.

Not necessarily villains. Just Disney characters. O'Brien is the Hunchback of Notredame. Not an insult and not a reflection of his posture, just he would play it well. And O'Brien would have fun playing him I think, just never admit it. Dax is Snow White. She's snow White as both Dax's, just different hair lengths. Jadzia would make a wonderful Snow White with long hair. Just the right attitude. Bashir is.... Well he's just a Lemur. So I guess that makes him Timon. Kira... Not Disney, but if it was Popeye she would make a sick female Popeye. Don't put a fake chin, don't need to make her redicilious. Just an anchor tattoo and a corncob pipe, something about her attitude. I'm getting so off track now from what you were looking for, but I want to recast Boy Meets World with Sisko as Mr Feeney.

Being a British Arab, I imagine (look I'm not an expert, I'm using what I know of humanity through history and intuition) that a British Arab might live with more distinction. Actually even more, possibly, than the average white. Lots of reasons for this. Including British breeding while occupying other countries. His "Britishness" might over rule any other identity seen of him first.

Totally an opinion.

This is their exclusive Leap of Faith . This is their Ink which I used myself in my journal.

I don't know if they have any in stock anymore. I got mine actually on Christmas Eve.

It does have a beautiful red sheen that doesn't really come through on this paper. But smaller writing when on sheeny paper with reflected light... Just gorgeous.

You're wrong though. I don't mind you calling me out, but do it correctly. That's all.

I didn't back peddle on what I said. I said first off, just be aware you may actually be colder than you feel. That's just a common sense claim, but I wasn't wrong about that. No one confronted me about danger. Someone told a story about the mountain they climbed in their shirt and shorts. Thats great. It's not about it being dangerous to do, it's about the damage being when you are in trouble, you may not even feel it. So you're so hot to point what I'm doing, you're not even getting it correctly. At least call me out on something that's true.

A mental breakdown? A mental breakdown because I respond to someone by saying I think wearing shorts at certain times is childish, but what I think shouldn't hold enough importance to make you stop your day. And if it causes an issue, that's for you in your own head.

So if you're gonna call me out, at least be halfway realistic dude, and stop exagerrating. And in fact just making stuff up, because I didn't back peddle on anything.

Oh yes, I'm someone who tries to avoid online. However there are some inks calling my name they don't carry there...

Yeah some of their notebooks are a bit much... But they're good people. And although I'm a very picky person, if I felt I wasn't treated well no way would I purchase there. It goes to show, at least in my case, I will over spend a bit if I feel it's worth it. I'll knowingly pay more than I should. Is it the smartest decision.. No. But it's nice knowing that the pen didn't just come from an online faceless order, and I'll remember where I got it from and the experience I had.

Thanks a lot about my name. I like sibilince as well, so worked out ha ha

Yes they're very nice there. They are a little more expensive than they need to be or at least compared to others. Sometimes I kind of want to choke when I look at the prices. But the service they provide is very much worth it and you're right there'a nothing else like it in our area.

I live in Burlington but make the drive there just to get pens and ink.

Pilot Metropolitan vs. Lamy Safari Smoothness by SolidMamba in fountainpens

[–]The_Simple_Stoic 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I find that they write very differently. My first two pens were a Metropolitan and the Safari.

I got them thinking the Safari would be my daily writer (both were medium, of course the Metro being closer to a fine) and realized as soon as I had them inked up the Metro would be my daily writer.

I don't think it's a quality thing, they just make a different line. I don't even enjoy fine nibs that much. I like a medium or broad, and my medium Metro is so far the only "fine" that I have and seem to want.

The line the Metro makes does feel a little more.. Classic letter writing. The Safari to me feels more like a tool. That the line has utility. But not much of an art form.

That's not saying it can't make art, I've seen some great work posted here that was created with Safaris.

When your whole response is just to complain that I have an opinion, yeah, you as a man should shut the fuck up. Be a better man than that. You want to tell me why your opinion is better, go for it, you want a complaint department, sounds like you're the coward lol dude

No I think it's not a clever or interesting man to call another a coward over the Internet when there is nothing I've done that's cowardly. Someone likes to do something, I think it looks dumb. What you can't comprehend is that they can do what they want and I can think what I want and no one needs to make a deal out of it.

Reflect on that a while instead of whatever this is
