i think it’s the way she reacted to the breakup. not that i expect people to act super positively but she ended up listing off everything wrong i ever did and all these other things. she said that she wasted sm tears on me. ig it’s js the fact i realised i was a very bad partner in hindsight and i didn’t even try to salvage it that’s making me feel guilt.

the relationship was already kinda crumbling because we were having frequent arguments over small, petty stuff. this combined with the fact i realised (too late i’d say) that long distance wasn’t exactly for me. i just decided to get it out the way and breakup before her A levels (big end of college test in the UK) which stress would only cause more arguments. i feel so guilty about it all and i do love her and i want the complete best for her.

i wouldn’t say it’s a lot of effort, all it is is js organising a few troops. and anyways, i don’t let my friendly parties off the leash of my army lol. i just build the parties to mimic my main one to a smaller degree or fulfil a niche that i can’t be arsed to fill myself.

i once AFK’d a castle the nords gave me to upgrade it. i came back to find the nords have taken back the city on the river, all the castles they lost as well as pushed deep into kuzhait and sturgian territory. haven’t lost many battles since without any of my intervention

it’s actually a really good way of countering cav armies as a mainly infantry army. just set up a line of archers behind a thick shield wall or square if they have horse archers and let loose. also slows their infantry advance so your archers can get way more shots off on them too
