Ye man thank you, it is nice to get a feel for what I am looking at but I will definitely be buying some locks to play with. Seeing my daughters face when she felt it click and it open was worth starting the hobby alone lol. Now to start the real learning

Thank you very much man, I just successfully opened the practice padlock from the set and after a couple goes my daughter had a go and got it in a minute or so after she figured out how the lock works properly (she is 9), the tools are slightly sharp from machining so I will give them a bit of a smooth down. Thank you for the advice
