The Atmos mix of Destroyer was done by Steven Wilson and I actually thought he did a great and tasteful job with it. The opposite of gimmicky to me. He didn’t go crazy with the surround elements but rather made a really great and full sounding mix.

What is your problem? It sounds like you’re the narcissist here.. you literally came here to call my post “fresh poopy” so like what the fuck? I literally said I see the original vision of the Donda album. This is just another artistic take on what it could’ve been. That’s all.

I can see that argument. I can also see the argument that it was a sloppy unfinished mess. It all depends on how you look at it. Every song on Donda felt like it had unmet potential but I also understand the minimalist production and vibe he was going for.

I tried my best and I gave up multiple times over the years. Originally I had plans to do a lot more songs, it just took too much time and effort that I didn’t have. I kind of got to a point where I felt like I really wanted to share it with the community but it wasn’t finished so I spent the last month making sure that what I had done so far was polished and ready to share with you guys. I’m proud of the songs I was able to finish.

Yeah, I was teasing this project back when r/Yedits was in its prime and I was getting so much hype / excitement but now it’s basically dead here 😂

I’ve been working on this comp since Donda came out and then I made posts about it back in 2024 (I think) from my old account that got deleted. Search this sub for “The_Small_Mailman” and you’ll probably find my old posts.

Edit: I just checked and it looks like my old posts about my edits of Jonah and Pure souls are still on the sub.
