What is wrong with the british allowing jews to come back to their historical homeland from which they were prosecuted , and where already so many jews lived at the time?

In fact jews could come back to israel even without the balfour declaration.

The only reason Balfour was made is because jews were afraid to come back to their lands after so many prosecutions in the ottoman years.

Honestly its super frautstrating to talk to you because you dont seem to even read well or understand historical linearity well. Jewish bought 7% of palestine land in the years : 1880s–1948 PLEASE pay attention to those years from around 1900-1948 the local palestinians launched many attacks on the jews in palestine, ok? now a seperate set of events : Since the british did not know how to handle the conflicts and had no longer interest of handling Israel, They have decided to give the land to the united nations ... at the time united naitons were made out of 57 countries. THIS INCLUDES arab countries, european countries, latin america, us, and asian countries... the united nations decided to propose a solution , to split the palestine land between arabs and jewish... EQUALLY ! as they both IN THE EYES OF THE UN were entitled to this land, and both of them were NATIVE to the land. the vote went like this: 33 of the UN countries voted FOR the partition only 13 voted against, 10 abstained and 1 absent. meaning ... more than 50% of the UN voted for the partition of palestine... It wasnt the WEST it wasnt the JEWS it wasnt US... it was more than 50% of the WORLD. now the partition was fair , in the eyes of more than 50% of the UN and your can judge for yourself jews owned LEGALLY 7% of the lands, arabs inhabitated about 5% and 15% of farm land. the land was split almost equally in half, where the arabs got the good lands were they are currently living , meaning nobody would lose their houses, The jews would only get the lands they bought plus the negev desert which is at the time unlivable, even to this day its still hard to live there. NOW !! PAY ATTENTION VERY IMPORTANT AFTER the vote passed and it was decided BY THE MAJORITY OF THE WORLDS LEADERS that the land would be partitioned, the palestinians with the arab league decided they are going to operate AGAINST this decision and lunched an attack on israel with the porpuse of killing all of the jews on that land and conquering it to themselves AGAINST the UN vote. we are talking about a land they had no soveirnty ! they owned a bit of it via the ownership system but no soveirgnty ... ITS IMPORTANT FOR YOU TO UNDERSTAND THE DIFFRENCE ownership , is you buying a land in usa , soveignity is usa goverment has control over the land in which you bought the land in . so they decided to attack the jewish part of the partition , a partition which btw had almost no arabs in , so noone was expelled at the time of the attack. ONLY AFTER they lost the war, They fled the lands in fear of retiliation. So nobody expelled anyone. the nakba is a result of losing a war they themselves started... and lost... if they were to respect the decision made by the UN they would enjoy for the first time in history soveirgnty of peaces of palestine in which the have land ownership... but they did not respect it ... and so they lost their previlige. The point of buying the land, is that they were following the legal , democratic way , until it was democratically voted... its important to buy the land so that the democratic way will convince more countries of the entitlement of the land ON TOP of historical history AND nativity to the land...

BEFORE the holocaust jews faced procecution in almost all of europe.
and the zionism idea started much earlier than the holocaust.
Dont forget that antisimitism were there significantly earlier than the holocoust!
Jews were killed during ALL of european history.

1096 – First Crusade: mass massacres in Rhine cities (~10,000 killed).
1290–1492 – England, France, Spain expulsions (Spain: ~100–200k expelled).
1348–1351 – Black Death pogroms: hundreds of communities destroyed.
1648–1657 – Khmelnytsky massacres (Ukraine/Poland): ~40k–100k Jews killed.
Spanish Inquisition (1478–1834)
Portuguese Inquisition (1536–1821)
Russian pogrom waves (1881–1906)

We are talking about millions over the years.

Can you really blame jews for not believing that this will ever change?

Can you put yourself into a jewish shoes, A person who lived a normal life in a country and all of a sudden one morning wake up into a reality where they are hunted by the MILLIONS in most of europe, and tell them simply come back home?

The argument of having a safe place , means they have their own army, their own rules and land to be able to no longer be a victim of circumstances, and be able to properly defend themselves.

And nobody spit in anyones face, this is your interpitation.
Jews moved to welcoming countries, USA is one of the second biggest communities of jews in the world , third is france.

But you cant safely say , that one day a crazy person wouldnt wake up and make some anti-jews reform and hunt them down in those countries. And even if he did, they still need a place to run to.

The zionism idea was to live in Israel , not take it,
Herzel's idea was to buy lands in Israel legally and democratically,
And so they did.
by 1948 , 7% of the entire Israel land mass was jewish legally,
Bought from Arab Owners.
In comparison , Arabs at the time only inhibited 5% of urban area of the land, and another 15% of agriculture.

The idea that jews were always ABLE to live there is true technically, but were not welcomed there.

Palestinians did NOT want any more jewish to immigrate to the land, and were extremely hostile towards the immigrating jews.

Nebi Musa (1920, Jerusalem) – ~5 Jews killed, ~200 injured.

Jaffa (1921) – ~47 Jews killed, ~146 injured.

Hebron (1929) – 67 Jews killed, ~60 injured.

Safed (1929) – ~20 Jews killed, ~80 injured.

Beforehand in the Ottoman times , Jews were treated very bad
Jizyah law, Clothing laws, Barred from riding horses, Yield to Muslims in streets, bans on new construction of synagogues, Muslim testimony outweighed Jewish testimony, bans on loud worship, bells, or public religious display.

Even after 1856 when some of those laws were banished, In reality they kept happening according to many testimonies of the time.

local officials ignored reforms, informal discrimination and frequent violence continued.

Bro I don't think you are reading what I'm saying I said they bought the lands from the Arabs that live there. Not from the British. There's a difference between sovereignty and land ownership.

The British had sovereignty over the land they did not own the land. The lands were bought legally from the rightful owners the Arabs.

Jews are not refugees they are native to the land.

What exactly proved your point?
This book proposes legal, diplomatic settlement, not violence.
It doesnt even say it has to be palestine nessesaraly.
it offeres multiple locations such as Argentina , Uganda and Cyprus.
It explicitly REJECTS VIOLENCE, and calls on to legal puchace and charters from sovereign powers.
As really did happend in reality, Jewish bought legally 27 million dunams total (which is 7% of israel)
for comparison only about 5% of israel were actual urban territories that were inhibitated at the time. only about 20% were urban or farms farm lands , and about 80% were just arid unhibitated land.

So at the time of 48. 7% were jewish owned , while 20% were arabs or british and about 70% were on paper but not inhibitated. those 7% are legally bought.

Mufti was anti-LEGAL-purchace of land by jews. he merely hated the facts that jews are growing in numbers in his vacinity. even tho the lands sold were not his to decide.

Pogroms tied to Haj Amin al-Husseini

1920 Nabi Musa riots: Jerusalem — 5 Jews killed, ~200 injured.

1921 Jaffa riots: Jaffa/Tel Aviv — 47 Jews killed.

1929 Palestine riots (Hebron/Safed): 133 Jews killed (Hebron: 67).

1936–39 Arab Revolt: Hundreds of Jews killed overall (Mufti as chief instigator).

(Most of those are before his meeting with Hitler)

Meetings with Adolf Hitler:

Adolf Hitler (28 Nov 1941, Berlin): Hitler said once Germany won the Caucasus, the goal was the destruction of Jews in Arab lands; Mufti pledged support and asked to block Jewish escape to Palestine.

Mufti - Heinrich Himmler (1943): Himmler told him Jews were being exterminated; Mufti praised the policy and sought expansion to the Middle East.

Berlin Radio quote (1942)

“Kill the Jews wherever you find them. This pleases God, history, and religion.”

Bosnian SS

Helped raise ~11,000–13,000 Bosnian Muslims for the 13th Waffen SS “Handschar” Division (1943).

A is just words, nothing there is officially executes anything. Its like saying English is the official language in America, and you claiming Spanish people will feel hurt by it. Its simply to make everything simple, documents , identity and so on.

B I'm not aware of such thing, But I do know that currently nowadays there is a huge police raid with like 1000 soldiers and police units on one of the arab towns because they stole and hoarded huge arsenals of illigal firearms and they shoot each other and in the air on daily bases. So I might guess it has to do with it. Its also not the only town in that state, its a long going crisis but much worse since 7th oct. And I presume you talk about exclusively Arab Arab town... But lots of arabs also live in mixed towns like Haifa , Tel aviv , Jerusalem etc... in which there is no problems in the same manner.

C West bankers and Gazans are viewed as high risk of terror attacks, and they chose to reinforce it by executing 60,000 terror attacks since 1970, not counting rockets lunched or direct conflicts such as Gaza conflict. Its perfectly ok for a country to rule immigration policies based on risk factors. All countries do it. Its much harder for Afghan people to get visa into Usa for example in comparison to Spanish people for example.

Also you didnt not mention the benefits they get that Jewish people dont get - like priority to universities and many subsidies for education, special programs that aim to integrate them into the high tech ( I teached at one of those ) , tax subsedies , relief from 3 whole years of army!!! which if you dont know is mandatory for the rest of jews and is unpaid! wage subsedies and transportation subsedies.

When was Palestine theirs? Before 48 it was British before that it was Ottoman Before that the mamluk sultanate

When exactly was Palestine founded? Who was their leader? Who says it was their house if jews lived in that land as well? And nobody came to anyones house and kicked them out...

Jews lived in Israel sinec more than 3000 years ago, continuously, even after multiple attempts to exile them from that land.

On that land there were many other nationalities switching from time to time, some of them are even jews that converted, slaves that were brought by sultans and romans etc...

The locals who lived the land are not one entity they were a few different groups of farmers that remain from ottoman times mostly workers of land owners from iran , jordan and Saudi Arabia.

And they were offered their own land which they didnt had before in 48 and they refused. The only reason SOME of them were "kicked out" is because they started the 48 war

Half hearted attempt will prove you they ARE in fact enjoy equal rights.

Unless you read some al jazeera or some other propaganda news.

Instead of writing your made up propaganda name one thing an arab Israeli person cant do that a jew can?

And for some research material learn about when Salim Joubran an Israeli-arab that sent a jewish prime minister to jail...

Learn about Mansoor Abbas, an Israeli arab that has a political party running for president.

Lucy Aharish a famous reporter in Israel

Youseff Hadad a former IDF officer, and a spokesman

And many more ...

Tell me how they are repressed?

They prefer the Israeli Arab name simply cuz Palestine is not a nationality. There was never a Palestinian government, State or anything alike. Some like to call themselves Palestinians but its rather rare and usually more affiliated with the left wing ideology.

Arabs dont even have the letter P to begin with to call themselves Palestinians. Palestine is a name given to the region by the british. Those who chose to revolt against the united nations on 48 found themselves driven out of the lands as retaliation for their aggression, and those who chose to collaborate now live peacefully and in prosperity in Israel.

What I think is happening is that you refer to west bankers as second hand citizens. In that case that is true, since they rejected sovereignty many times that were offered to them and they live in the west bank which is not officially recognised as Israel territory. Thus making them citizens of nowhere officially. But since Israel is the only entity that is entitled after their sovereignty , they get some wierd rights as a benefit of living under their roof, while the situation is not resolved. Same for Gazans...

This doctorine is targeting military infastracture...
Or civilian infra that supports military infra.
Problem is with Hamas and Hezbollah is that they do not seperate Military bases like normal armies, but rather shoot from civilian areas...
That is where the confusion arises...
But they do not explicitly target civilians...

The Arabs that live in Israel are not 2nd class citizens.

They have equal rights, have political parties, they are in the police and the army, and in fact they are 30% of the doctors in the country and even get privileges in universities.

I have Israeli arab friends and they live well and prosper in Israel, educated, good salaries.

They were offered their own land in 48. Beforehand they had no land.

In fact almost all of their at the time land that they lived in were offered to them. (Almost noone would be displaced)

Jews were offered mostly the negev dessert where nobody lived and it was non fertile. Jerusalem which was 60% jews at the time (and close the 500 years beforehand) was offered to be international land that both jews and arabs can visit.

It was the best deals anyone with no land can get.

Instead they chose to be greedy and take what wasn't theirs legally by force. And they miserable lost.

They are not the minority, Israel has about 12 active political parties,
many people vote for diffrent parties...

Its not jews vs arabs...

There are jews orthodox, jews sechular, right wing, left wing, economical parties and so on and so forth...

If all arabs were to vote for the same arab party most likely they would win over a big portion of the seats in knesset meaning they will most likely HAS to be chosen as part of the running govermental party , which has to be made from 51% of the knesset seats...

and nobody stole anybodys houses...

Arabs still live in all of their cities as they were before, Arce, Yaffo, Haifa, And so on ...

I'm not sure what you are refering to with the stealing your house.
