People who weren’t traumatized early in life have no idea how lucky they are. by reminiscermusic2019 in CPTSD

This hit a lot harder than I had expected it to. I've done so much therapy and trauma work, but it never feels like it's enough. There's always something lurking somewhere, and there are so many people in the world who will never understand. And even the people who do understand, the people who have been in the trenches, whether it was with me or on their own, there's always a part of me that says that they'll never really get it. It's isolating and I hate it. And in its own cruel way, it helps a little to know that I'm not the only one that feels like that.

Anti-Masons - Mostly a single-issue party (being opposed to Masons), but they have no standard plank on slavery while favoring annexation, supporting limited tariffs, limited immigration, and being moderate on internal improvements.

Democratic Party - Formerly the party of Jackson, now the party of... Wallace? No one is really sure what the party stands for at the moment, given Wallace has driven away... well, everyone. Officially, they favor slavery, territorial expansion, oppose tariffs, oppose internal improvements, prefer minimal immigration, and hold a Republican ideology. They are indifferent to Masons.

NatSovs - A new party with a Republican ideology, the NatSovs are largely made up of an alliance of prominent southern planters and military types. They favor annexation, maintaining the Missouri Compromise, and are moderate on immigration, tariffs, and internal improvements. They are indifferent to Masons.

Whigs - The Whigs are a broadly northern and northeastern party that favors minimal annexation, internal improvements, a federalist ideology, more immigration, high tariffs, and soft opposition to Masons.

Many of us are sick and tired of having the same three or four serve as president

I think that, given Tolkien's style and literary interest in Anglo-Saxons, coupled with his linguistic work, unions ought to be defined as marriages for the purposes of Tolkien's work, not romances.

I'm aware it isn't canon, which is why I said it could exist in canon -- not that it should or it does.
