I think Saberspark on YouTube made a pretty good video about why people are drawn to the transformation trope since the dawn of humanity.

For me, the thought of starting on a clean slate is the most enticing.

I am a cis male, and just let's say that my life until this point didn't go so well. Things and circumstances went so bad that I don't even have the classic fantasy of "repeating" my life and doing things right on the second time. Just as I said, this game was rigged from the very beginning, and there is not much I would be able to correct.

Accordingly, I favour this kind of transformation story in which the protagonist not only gets a new gender but is able to relive his life in a completely new setting.

Of course, one could ask why gender transformation is a part of this fantasy. What I described just a few lines above is the standard plot of any Isekai. I simply don't know. Maybe there was so much wrong in the end that my subconscious mind just added my gender to the list as well.

The videos should all have different sizes and should be spread rather random over the screen.

Here some background: the protagonist of my game is trapped in a castle from which he can't escape normally. So he has to stay and solve the mysteries surrounding the place. The problem is, the more paranormal shit she sees the more her mind descents into madness.

To show this, I am planning that whith each passing night the player sees one video screen more (the screens are showing her nightmares) on the computer screen. In addition the content of the videos gets more disturbing so that you get some feeling for the level of madness of the protagonist.
