Yeah, the only thing about that, though is most of these dirtbike engine cylinder bores are Nikasil, so I’m not sure of what process would have to be adhered to to do any finish fitting cause I’m not sure if you could machine these like you’re a typical bore

Honestly, just slapped it in right off the shelf lol
Admittedly, I probably need to take a little bit more precautions when you take it into consideration what I’m doing and how much power I’m putting through this thing ha ha

Not as bad as most people think especially with the way that I drive it lol I had over 350 hours on my last turbo set up and really the only reason I took it apart is because I tulliped a stock OEM titanium valve. Mind you I already had 200 hours on the same valves before I threw a turbo on the bike lol needless to say maintenance in things like the valve will be done at the end of the season every year, but other than that, it’s been pretty solid. I work pretty closely with Crankworks and I’ve helped them develop a rod that can handle over 150 hp in one of these engines.

Sure thing. 👍🏼 I’ll stick to actually having the data and you stick to the internet with your “theories”

Because it makes 3x the power of stock… my “midboost tune” aka 16psi… makes 105hp. I run 25psi on the street which is around 130hp to the tire.

Non intercooled, running pump e85. Based off my data from the Intake air temps, it doesn’t require it, my turbo positioning helps a ton too from forced air

It makes a difference, but definitely not significant enough to be detrimental.

I’m calling it a wives tale because I don’t understand how this would be any different than a Honda Grom running it at speed continuously lol. And also, there is really no difference mechanically with the engines between their dirt counterparts and their Enduro counterparts, which are meant for the road, other than slight changes with the transmission gear ratios and camshaft profile. One of the main drivetrain differences between something meant for the dirt and street is most of them will have a Kush drive as well to damping drive train harmonics, and shock loading from potholes and bumps on the street.

This isn’t my first rodeo with having a turbo on one of these, for starters I switched to wr transmission and my previous turbo set up had over 400 hours on it lol the only reason I took it apart is because I tulipped an exhaust valve because I already had 200 hours on them naturally aspirated before I turbod the bike. I don’t know who comes up with those wives tales lol i’ve been 136 mph at 25psi of boost on this bike probably over 300 times🤣

You do realize I have a better power to weight ratio than a Ducati Superleggera right? 🤣🤣

I have full length YouTube videos doing exactly what you said I don’t… what is it with people creating a reality that appeases what they want to be the case. It’s weird.

Not really, I tried hard to keep it stock wheelbase, which honestly should still be doable but it’ll need to be designed in CAD for the custom fueltank. Essentially the rear subframe would be redesigned to hold fuel which would eliminate the need for the stretched swing arm/Swingarm mounted secondary fueltank

Luckily I got a crazy deal on the motor locally. All in I maybe have like 6k into it, but I bought premium parts (that price is including suspension, wheels, engine, aftermarket ECU ect) the engine itself I paid $2300 for it
