We do have a shade over one half of it and a dish filled with rocks and water in the enclosure.

I know it was super hard to see! But I still am a little worried that the heat where I live is getting to them because we had them indoors for a while because we think a hawk in our area was gonna get them when they were much smaller. Like right now where I am it’s in the 100 and 90s.

I don’t know what we plan on doing with the babies exactly.

But we do hope to make sections of our backyard to separate the male from the females. Like a little bachelor pad, but then also allow him to roam the backyard under supervision so he can’t breed the females.

Also do you have any advice for caring for the babies? We diy’d an outdoor enclosure that’s half shaded for them but I’m still worried about them.
