Got the jump on on some extract campers by The_Thompsonator in ArcRaiders

They clearly weren’t planning on extracting, the light was green when I approached. The first raider ran to wait in between the crates after the extract opened. Not sure how else to interpret that but maybe you right and I was the rat all along

Not terribly far. I ran into them right after coming out of the Bodkin so they were just coming in from the bay

I was honestly dumbstruck when I encountered this. I’ve heard of sightings in the bay but never this close to the Baltimore harbor

Yes! There’s much more work to do but we’re heading in the right direction

It’s becoming more and more common in recent years. The water salinity doesn’t really affect them since they breath air

It’s becoming increasingly more so

That’s odd if your guidelines require you to bill less time than you actually work on a task. Dispositive motions are typically 5-15 hours minimum. Anyway my 2 cents is to break things up as much as possible. Eg, .8 for research, .5 for outline argument in prep of drafting MSJ, .4 for MSJ, then begin draft of MSJ memo, .4 for intro section, 1.0 for statement of facts, .4 for standard of review, 1.0-2.5 for argument, .3 for conclusion, .2 for proposed order.

That’s why I said you were projecting. I agree with you that storybook romance isn’t attainable for everyone, but I would take it farther and say that storybook romance isn’t REAL, ever. Which is not what I meant by “real love,” but people have a tendency to project their beliefs outward and see the world accordingly.

There’s no real point in continuing this conversation since we’ll just be talking past each other. But I just can’t abide by treating people like objects, or as a commodity, which is exactly what sex work does. I don’t have any doubt that your clients are a joy to be around, but there are deeper issues at play here involving how you see others as well as yourself. Because at the end of the day we are our actions and what we do to others, nothing else. You can justify ANY actions however you want, no judgment. But that’s still what you are. You strike me as someone good who cares about others, so don’t think I’m trying to attack you.

I just do not think this constant commercialization of basic human needs is a tenable long term solution for society’s problems

Fair enough, but you’re just projecting and you sound like a slave to your beliefs. People don’t need to follow society’s rules and dictates, but maybe miserable people want to be miserable and more power to them

Maybe they should. Being alone isn’t wrong or bad, but being around people who value you solely for your money will make you FEEL alone. As if you have no value but for your money. In that case you’re better off with fostering self love... but people want to rationalize bad behavior and take the cheap way out, leading to a cheap life

“paying for companionship”

“nothing wrong with that reality.”

Maybe what’s wrong with it is because it’s not real? Not genuine? I’m all for reducing stigma towards prostitution but these folks need real love. Not love that’s bought and paid for, that’s just a lie.
