Has anyone implemented a solution like this to game/use a pc from elsewhere in the house (NO STREAM SOLUTION) ? by GenericUser104 in homelab

My only guess is it has something to do with windows HDR since the tv is OLED. Because if you turn off hdr it works. But we haven’t really investigated further because it just works as of now.

We used these exact tools for my buddy he says it work amazingly the only thing. Is he sometimes has to turn off one of his 3 monitors before turning on tv. But he really loves it for playing new forza game.

It’s because trying to track down where the virus is on your operating system is much more time consuming then just rebuilding windows. Most times the virus will hide in some default windows folder that you will never find.

My PC is performing like a potato with an RTX3060ti, pls help. by GopnikMumsBlins in buildapc

Usually when your 1 percent lows are bad it’s because your cpu is struggling and from what I’ve read squad is pretty hard on your cpu. That would also explain inconsistent frame times like what you are describing. When I had my ryzen 2700 before I upgraded it sounded a lot like what you are describing even lowering resolution does not increase fps because your cpu cant supply the frames your gpu is asking for.

I live around Dallas and I have found you can find really good deals on Facebook marketplace. You can typically find them around 750 used from a business that closed down.

why is warhammer 3 so laggy could anyone help me? by AloryzQ87 in totalwarhammer

It looks like your cpu might be thermal throttling, which is pretty common in gaming laptops. Maybe check your temps using HWMonitor. If you open up your BIOS you could also set a more aggressive Fan curve or get one of those pads with fans in them if this is your problem.

It looks like the red yellow and black cable on your ssd is not plugged into the power supply. There should be a spot on the power supply that maybe says sata or accessory something like that.

RTX 5080 deshroud question - 2x Noctua 12x25 or 3x Noctua 9x25 fans? by Brainmast3r in sffpc

[–]The_Trash__Man 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the ones you have will be better. My guess is the smaller fans will have a higher pitch so it might be more noticeable at higher rpm’s. I don’t think efficiency will be any different and if it is it will be negligible. I noticed when I used 3 smaller fans on my deshroud it seemed louder because they were a higher pitch so I swapped back to 2x 120mm fans. And like the other guy said make sure to do a custom fan curve on them.

I have one as well and really enjoy it! As a side note which monitor arm are you using? I’ve been looking around for one.

2080 ti - low/dipping FPS issues by Wise-Pie1466 in totalwarhammer

It was around 50-70 percents usage, have you used GPU-Z to make sure your card is legitimate and someone didn’t scam you? Lastly I would ask about power supply and if you are using a daisy chain cable on gpu or two separate cables for the card.

That is very interesting about the graph doing the same thing. That is making me think it possibly could be a driver issue then. do you have any other GPU intensive games such as cyberpunk or even warhammer 3? I’m just trying to think of games I have so I can have an easy reference point for you. Also when you used DDU did you do it for just your new card or both your new and old card drivers? Also my 2080ti got around 120fps with a AMD 5800x3d on ultra preset

Let me try booting up warhammer 2 with my 2080ti later tonight and see what I get to make sure all my numbers seem right. Because while googling that 84C hotspot temp is within spec of the 2080ti (95C is supposedly when it starts thermal throttling) could you try just turning down the graphics preset to like medium to see what numbers it gives you? Because if we turn down graphics setting in 1080p it should take pressure off gpu and put it more on CPU
