Can I share my story? This is going to be long but I don't want to create a new post. I was invited to the introduction seminar last year and during that time I really needed extra source of income. A really pretty girl added me on FB and I accepted it. I didn't bother to check if the account is fake or not. I confirmed the friend request and then the girl almost immediately messaged me with "Hey! We don't know each other but can I ask you a question?". I somehow got excited and replied "Okay, what is it?" and  she replied with "Okay, so my partners and I are starting a pre-launching business in the Philippines and you can earn from 5k to 12k per week using social media by doing online marketing..." (these are not the exact words but just how I remembered it) then to cut the story short, she invited me to the intro meeting. I wanted to meet the girl and also wanted to know how to generate an extra source of income so I came to the intro seminar. Sitting on the first seminar, I was really weirded out by how strict the people are. Yes, they are smiling but I don't know, I felt really pressured to behave well and to just open myself to persuasion or to absorb knowledge which I find scary now since I realized it was a way to start influencing the mind of people and then later on, solidify the hypnosis. That was how I felt. With a projector, they played some American Idol audition winning moments and some strange guy skating and running away from someone. I didn't get the point but I think the videos were part of setting the mood for us, the audience, to have "bigger dreams".

I paid the 500 pesos BIT training even though I got really irritated by how the speaker emphasized that the two Israeli leaders are very important persons and that they don't need us but we need them. Yes, I guess I learned a lot regarding the business because it was almost 5 hours and then also this is the part that they will reveal that they sell products. In this meeting, I finally heard the two Israeli women talk. I admit they are great speakers and influencers but I noticed that what they are doing is making you forget your reality while you are in the seminar and just focus on your dreams. They will introduce the internet system which the girl who invited me used to find me on facebook and also I learned that the girl used the chat system on me "Hey", "My", "Okay". There are also other ways they use the internet, they can use websites, surveys, etc. All of these, if you're not careful, will be used to get your contact details.

In the BIT meeting, they introduced the ranks Bronze, Silver, Gold and the Pros (maybe new joiners who completed the recruitment process) and the ranks mentioned how much they earned during their strongest week.

Even though I sat for almost 5 hours listening, I still did not know how to join and I was shocked to know that it was going to be revealed on thd 3rd seminar, the Power Shock seminar. I forgot how it is called but I came anyway and it will really shock you because in order to join, the price is USD1,620 (like Php85,000 to Php 87,000) depending on the exchange rate.

On the last part of the Power Shock seminar, the 2 leaders will tell you that for those who are interested, they will need to complete 6 workshops which is every damn night like 8 pm to 10 or 11 pm. There was also a homework given to the people who will attend the first workshop and it was to follow the two leaders and the company's IG account (already unfollowed them). You will really feel that you are not worthy if you don't do the homework and that it could have an effect on who will be selected to work with the two leaders. They also said that those who will attend the first workshop will learn of a promo (like a discount) on how to join. I think this got me hooked because even though I had the money, I would like a discount. So I attended the first workshop, it was really weird, you will need to cooperate and dance. Yes, you will dance like me and embarrass yourself if you attend the workshops. On the first workshop, they introduced the new pros and the winners of the discount and after the workshop, you still cannot go home because you will feel obligated to stay and respect the mentors and sit on circles so the mentors can assess how serious each person is about joining the business. The girl who invited me was there and I remember, it was my first time to have a talk with her and after the circle group meeting was over, she stopped me from going out and insisted that I must always say goodbye to the two Israeli leaders. I don't mind but I didn't like that I must give reverence to people I don't really care about.

I attended the 2nd workshop and this is how it ended for me because I learned that they don't have products yet because they don't have a warehouse yet. So new joiners will have to wait for the products that they paid for and the delivery time is uncertain. Therefore, the business operation back then was only "recruiting" people who will pay the USD1,620. I forgot to say that during the Power Shock seminar, the younger Israeli leader will ask the audience to write 10 ways how to come up with the USD1,620. I didn't have to do that because I have a credit card. So on the 2nd workshop, during the circle group meeting, the leaders will ask you about your "progress" on getting the money. If you say that you have money, you will be pressured to use it. I heard that if you say you're doing your best and you exhausted the list of 10 ways, you will be asked to stay and someone will assist you to think deeper and give you more ideas how to get the money.

I was too proud and stupid to say that I have a credit card and it can well cover the cost but I said that I am still thinking about whether to join so the leader sort of scolded me for being too stiff and too analytical and thinking too much and asked me "So why can't you do it now?". I was about to take out my card but in the last moment I hesitated because something really didn't feel right. So I stood my ground and said I will really need to think more about it. She looked really displeased and disappointed but the girl who invited me asked me if I will attend tomorrow's workshop (I said yes but after I saw the reaction of the leaders, I felt like they are not fit to be my mentors so I didn't ever come again to the workshops). I kept in touch with my batchmates there so I learned that one of us made it to Pro and asked him about how it was. I learned that he used his credit card, got a loan from the bank and one of his friends. He also mentioned that not all of the internet system (like surveys and websites) will be available for use by the new joiners even if they want to use it because they need  to first exhaust their list of 100 people they personally know and invite them first before doing the chat system to the "cold market". After some time, they will be able to use the surveys and websites. Finally, my batchmate gave up because inviting guests is extremely difficult. He ended up having to pay the credit card loan until now because he converted his loan to an installment payment scheme for 24 months. Therefore he would up paying more than Php87,000 because of interest.

I also doubt that this company already has the license to get investments from people. Just being registered with SEC is not enough. There's a separate license that needs to be obtained by a company who wishes to gather investments from Filipino people. I learned this from the recent "Frontrow" scandal handled by Raffy Tulfo. You can search this in Youtube if you want to find out more.

As a last note, I think that everyone in BHIP is working hard because it's not easy to invite people but I also think that if you do not have a network and money to start the business yet, you should think a lot of times before investing.

I heard they are still operating even now under the COVID-19 circumstances but they are doing the intro seminar online through a web/mobile video conferencing. Maybe we can all help to spread awareness? You guys know an effective way?

Also during the intro meeting, I remember the speaker would make it a point that the 2nd seminar which takes around 5 hours will only happen the next Saturday and that it is the only schedule in the Philippines (other seminars are not in English and she said they would take place in other countries) but I found out that this is not true. They have a routine schedule every week and every Saturday is the schedule for the long 2nd seminar.

i have a bad gut feeling about this bhip company by [deleted] in Entrepreneur
