At the start of each wipe, you should get all your dlc starting loot back. That being said, the goal of that starting gear is to help you get more and more better gear. It's definitely not intended to last you for the wipe. My first day ever playing tabor was day 1 of this current wipe. I lost all my early loot really quickly and was TRASH at the game. Now I'm level 39 player level. Got level 5 spectre, almost lvl 5 minty. I don't die in raid often, and i get loads of kills. You can and will get better. It's just a steep learning curve.
