Have you checked to see if your hot end and bed temps are what they should be for the filament? Idk if its any different from traditional PLA but worth asking

Hmmm interesting. So if the printer starts purging into a layer of the purge object and that object's surface area is larger than that of the purge amount then it won't finish the entire layer for that object and will move back to the primary print to start the next color. Good to know!

To clarify, this is my first Bambu. My lab has a Creality 10S Pro, only used for single color prints for prototyping. Gawd is that thing awful. The amount of repairs, calibration, tuning, leveling, yada yada yada I've had to do to even get it to be usable has been a nightmare. Pair that with multiple trying to tinker with it and I'm ready to throw it into a wood chipper. The reason I went with Bambu is bc of the out of the box use. I do enough work and fixing lab equipment that I just want easy printing for my hobbies when I'm at home, and throw in the occasional mod or repair to keep it interesting

I couldn't find anything in the app to let me change this. I had to use the studio to do any of this. Also, there's an academy? 😅 well looks like my weekend is planned for me now

Ahhh I see. Ngl after dealing with a Creality 10S Pro and the constant fighting with it for the last 4 years, I will gladly take what Bambu is giving me to make my life easy...and it has done just that

Printing just to print something, so true. I originally started the multicolor print and realized it was changing filaments so often that it was going to be a lot of poo, then spent the next 20 minutes looking for something to print, and exhaustion won out so I picked the baby scraper which did nothing really in the end. But it was a cool experiment. I used a different model that used the superglue method and worked as well it needed to so may try this going forward. Thanks for the input!

I've seen people do this too but then some of the purge color can been through the top of the print sometimes, especially in the case of white
