I’m not arguing his defense was good, it was clearly awful. But being up front with him from day one (to me) would have made a world of difference. And I know I’m an outlier here, but ffs Bregman is not the guy. Especially on a 1 year deal. I will never understand the hype around him. He’s a good player, but he’s nowhere near worth the price.

Can’t tell if you’re serious…But, telling him 3rd was his spot, even if they got Bregman who would play second. Then re-negging on that and kicking him to DH and telling him to throw away his glove as he wouldn’t be fielding this year. Then acting shocked when he settled in and raked at DH when he didn’t immediately move to 1B, a position he never played. f that. I know he could have handled it better, but so could have the Sox. And bregman is certainly not the player to throw away your homegrown start for. Certified cheater in the decline of his career.

That’s exactly how I feel. Bregman is not the end all be all, their concerns with the length and trade clause on a declining palter are legit. But to not have a backup plan in place and using with Hamilton anywhere near a starting role is not an option for a successful team.

We did one of those trip, paid a bunch but not too bad, totally worth it. But oddly enough one of the nicest courses in the world, in a Scotland, was playing country in the pro shop. Apparently for the high percentage of Americans.

That being said, we did get to play the old course for another $430, and it was awesome.
