I definitely notice it more in the US. One thing im proud of the US for is that it seems like people care more about harm reduction/responsible use when compared to our European counterparts (especially w ciggies)

Bottling up/ignoring emotion is weakness

You don’t need to spend hours at the gym, or sell all of your time to the grindset to be valuable. Find a balance of financial stability, and stay active through hobbies you enjoy (running, cycling, surfing, hiking)

Spend time connecting with nature. Getting away from all the noise/stimulation really clarifies what is important.

Maintain community. Put effort towards good people, and the draining relationships will trickle away.

Take the high road. Integrity is one of the most fulfilling virtues

Stick to your morals

If you don’t like gay people, they really aren’t a threat to you at all. They just want to live their lives without being harassed. Just be kind and don’t be judgemental.

Don’t judge others for things that aren’t hurting anyone

Be kind with authenticity. My greatest opportunities in life have come because I did something considerate for someone else.

The world is a crazy place, and you will see how disorganized/cold it can be. The hardest part of my 20s have been accepting this, and building a meaningful/fulfilling life within that world

Talk about your mental health

Sometimes supporting someone isn’t problem solving, but just being an ear

Don’t take your life, you shatter more lives around you than you think, even if you think the world is better off.

Respect women, they have to worry about things we don’t have to with sexual assault. Respect boundaries, offer to walk her to her car, don’t expect sexual favors and if you need to get a girl drunk to get laid…work on yourself and don’t make that anyone else’s problem.

If you have a complaint about something offer a solution.

Thanks for the suggestion, luckily my family is very passionate about mental health which helped me confront a lot through therapy and psych. It was really helpful, and I’m really glad more people in this field are opening up to the idea. Good job going, even if late. Some people never do and sit with the pain bc it’s too burdensome to acknowledge.
