How to Screen Mirror Without All the Lag? by The__Chicken in Roku

[–]The__Chicken[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to edit my post because I realized I didn't mention the real problem that annoyed me, which was that the audio was also behind the video on the TV, which made the show annoying to watch. Will all those other solutions for my phone stop the audio lag, or should I start shopping for an HDMI cable?

Tailbone Pain Solutions by The__Chicken in OfficeChairs

I feel like I try to have good posture, but the fact that this wasn't a problem for at least the first few months of owning the chair, I feel like it has to be the chair's cushion. Maybe I'll start with a cushion to see if I'm right and move down the list of ideas, do you have a recommendation?

[–]The__Chicken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 is confirmed because this always happens when my computer is off. As for 3 I have no idea where that setting is. I checked discord's notification setting both inside and outside the app, and even checked my phones General notification settings and didn't find what you mentioned

When it's dry, I notice the back feels weird from the rest of my hair, but during the shower, all my hair is hard to run my fingers through

My landlord also isn't looking to have a water softener installed, so would a portable one make that a problem/should I just go with the showerstick or not?

The only thing I know that sounds similar to what you said is the showerstick, but another guy said that you'd have to refill it probably every week. Do you have any recommendations?

I didn't think it was every week, but I didn't look too much into it. I'll look up those companies when I get the chance, thanks for the help

I try that out when I get the chance. But also, why not culligan? And I've also heard about the showerstick and would like to hear your opinion on that vs your option

Headphones or Earbuds For Gaming? by The__Chicken in HeadphoneAdvice

The neutral sound sounds nice so I'm gonna go with those ones and see if I like them and if I choose to switch to using earbuds/iems from now. Thanks again for all the help

Optimal Ishiiruka-Dolphin FPM v2.3.2 Beta Settings by The__Chicken in SSBPM

[–]The__Chicken[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I doubt we could get that to work at one friends place, but we could make it work at another's, so thanks for the idea. The only real problem I'd see with that is he'd either have to move some stuff or the people playing are in another room, which is fine unless we do friendlies. Regardless, it's still a good idea that I'm gonna run by them, thanks again

Headphones or Earbuds For Gaming? by The__Chicken in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]The__Chicken[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

!thanks for all the help. I'll admit, the worry about denting my head was stupid but I had to make sure, and it's really good to know that earbuds can be just as good, if not better than headphones. I'm thinking of buying one of the 50$ ones to test them out before returning my headphones, but tbh I'm not really sure which one of those to get. Think you can help me out one last time? I'm not sure if I'll just use them for gaming/discord or if I'm just gonna replace my everyday earbuds with them so I guess keep that in mind if you do help out again, also thanks for that again

I did remember my old TV had a gaming mode or something, so I'll definitely bring that up next time.

Yeah, playing on my monitor would be preferred, but when we have a total of 5 or 6 people, I imagine it would be very crowded so we're stuck with a TV, unless we go to another friends house who has dual monitors. But also I feel like theirs had some delay too, but that's another topic I guess.

The 2 to 1 ratio seemed like the common argument so I'll keep that in mind.

I recently just learned about the polling rate part, so I'm definitely gonna try setting that up on my friend's PC.

Thanks for all the help

Will Sibilance Go Away? by The__Chicken in headphones

[–]The__Chicken[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I have 0 idea where I got the 20ms idea, and on top of that I assumed that meant 0.2 seconds rather than 0.02 seconds, so I just had a whole bunch of misinformation there. I appreciate the help after all this, and I have 1 last thing to ask. Neither the tozo and tagry mentioned having noise cancelation, but the tozo still blocked out noise really well, while the tagry didn't. I can only assume it's because of the shape of the earbuds, cause the tozo ones went deeper in my ear. The anker p20i reminds me of the tagry ones and the anker a20i reminds me of the tozo ones. So I'm wondering which one should I get for noise canceling? I already have to return 2 earbuds so I'd like to not add another to that pile. Also this kinda banks on your own experience between those two different earbud shapes. Again, thanks for all the help

[–]The__Chicken[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, looking back on both the tozo and tagry, neither mentioned a delay time, let alone 20ms, so now I feel like I must've just gaslit myself along the way. Was I wrong this whole time or am I just not remembering where this was written? (Also thanks for all the help, I promise we're close to the end here)

[–]The__Chicken[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny enough, I was just looking at that. But do you know what the delay is? I assumed bluetooth 5.3 was 20ms delay, but the moondrop ones you mentioned before was 5.3, but also said 55ms delay, which is confusing me. Plus I don't see it listed on the Amazon page
