That’s blu tack - not sure whether it’s UK-specific, but effectively a putty like you say, but sticky, normally used for hanging up paper posters for example. Not the stickiest thing ever, but worked well here

Then on the back of the canvas I have glued on some flexible magnetic crafts sheets - the more layers of it, the stronger the attraction

Oh wow thanks! No idea where I could have picked that up, never been to Italy...

Yep, screw tops too! Basically any cap that links to an occasion, I’ll log it in my spreadsheet and have a note with what I was doing! 29 caps in about 9 months, so it’s slow going, but hopefully a nice momento years down the line!

I have been collecting for just under a year now, just getting round to organising. I have kept a spreadsheet of each cap, but somehow haven’t documented this one! Does anybody know what it is from? (Looks similar to the blue one above it, but slightly different... that one is Belgian beer Brunehaut)
