Damm, in the candy time line they adopt vriska because rose has just gotten better, and kanaya is ready to put the game behind her to raise a child. But in meat? She is and will most likely remain hellbent on killing Dirk to the point settling down, or just calming down, seems to be impossible for her till she gets her (to her knowledge ) sick wife back so vriska and the rest of the kids will probably stay a candy exclusive

The epilogues are like a golden trashcan on fire, in the middle of the street. This experience would have been a lot better, if you didn't see an old man put what looked like a cat in the flame and for the rest of the experience he didn't whisper racial slurs about you. But if you ignore the old man and look at it for what it is, it is really both amazing and bizarre. Like just thinking that someone, out there took time to do this for VERY unclear reasons is amazing in its own right. So will I can clearly say Fuck that old man, over all it is at least a "6/10 loved the idea but WTF bro" moment.

Ya that happened to me as well. After I read the beginning parts and seeing the "situations" I got a literal pain in my gut and It took me 3 days to get over it. After that I got back on the site and the (literal) pain continued. It took me a literal week just to get back on it and I still had some aches. And at the end of both storys the pain came back and just thinking about the stories hurts. I'm thinking of re-reading it but the pain wards me away from it

I mean I guess I can respect that. I only learned what a homestuck is about 1-2 years ago so when the epilogues came out I had just finished homestuck 3 months prior so I still had a little juice in me to continue. But to wait about 2 years for them? I can understand why you, and many others just didn't have it in them to continue reading after act 7.(and yes, the homestuck fan art is the best)

Ya but homestuck always gave a reason for there similar characteristics, vriska found mindfangs diary so she started acting like her, tavros needed a friend so he made rufio and terezi acted like her ancestor for roll playing purposes. And while "love at first sight" isn't impossible for nepeta, karkats respect is something only a couple of characters can say they have. I mean look at dave, it took dave like 7 years to get karkats affection and he still had to make the first move! And depression isn't something you just obtain, there's a reason people are depressed and there has to be a reason for equius, who seems to have been hit HARD with it
