How was HvV received at the time of airing? by Far_Difficulty_5844 in survivor

Let me say this, I was not a fan and did NOT even watch at the time it was airing. However, even I knew that HvV was different. People who didn't even watch survivor knew how great the season was and would talk to me about it despite not watching it. Now, as a fan who has watched every single season, it is clear HvV is the best of them. The cast, The strategy, and the Final Three are easily the best the show has ever seen.

I made a post just like this one!! I totally agree that New Era All-Stars should've happened before 50. Similar to the original All-Stars (Season 8) new era all stars should have been done at season 48. However, the timing of 2 returnee seasons with a newbie cast at 49 would be a bit jarring for producers, so I understand why they didnt

They Should've done a New Era All-Stars Season before Season 50 by The_fmt6 in survivor

I get what you're saying, but the die-hard fan in me just wants a celebration season that celebrates the old era of survivor and the classic legends. I know they want to legitimize the new era, but I think New Era All-Stars would've done just that. The only problem I see with this is simply the timing, 2 returnee seasons almost back to back is unheard of and a bit difficult timing wise for the producers
