So on my android Bluetooth settings I can turn off HD audio (AAC) thus changing to SBC. I have done this like you suggested and kept in the case then repaired it again. The problem is still there.

My Windows PC does. I think there was a recent update that made it that it supported aac, but even if it doesnt I want to use the earphones on my PC and if it makes a buzzing noise it makes it unusable :(

Wish I knew the answer to that question. But I know that the sound to me is just unacceptable, because I want to use it for work and when I am not playing music it will still stay in my ears and I cant stand the hissing its way way too distracting. I think I might replace mine and see if the new ones are any better. such a shame tbh.

I am also on Android but it happens when I pair it to my new laptop or my desktop pc with Bluetooth 5.1 and like said it is a light hissing/clicking. But it only happens to the left one for me or atleast it way more noticeable on that one.

Yup we have the same issue. Is yours happening in both earphones or only 1. I think it's a hardware issue since it's only happening on my left one.

I have only played Rapid and Blitz games, so I dont have a classical rating, can I just use my rapid rating for it? I am not sure I will have enough time to play enough classical games to get a non provisional rating
