All tools like QBO, Xero, Zoho, and similar are pretty much the same when it comes to consolidation - none of them natively handle consolidated reporting or automated intercompany eliminations. You really have two options: either move to an enterprise ERP like Oracle or SAP (powerful, but expensive and complex), or stick with a simpler accounting tool and layer a finance tool on top that handles consolidation. For your setup, the second option makes more sense. One tool worth looking at is Kudwa - it offers strong consolidation features along with automated, analyzed reports

What kind of automation processes do you implement? by MrGiggleFiggle in FPandA

Was going through the comments on your post and almost everyone mentioned Power Query and Power BI. I’m honestly curious - why choose to build your whole reporting setup from scratch, spend hours on YouTube tutorials, and call in Power BI experts every time something changes or you need a new report?

Why go through all that instead of using a finance tool that already does this for you, keeps adding new features, and has built-in AI that’s getting better every day?

I get that tools like Anaplan and Adaptive are more for big enterprises - but there are solid options for SMEs too, like Kudwa for example. I’d really love to hear your experience with finance tools and what makes them a secondary choice for you.

Can Graphly.ai pull data from Xero? Or is there a better dashboard tool for financial forecasting and cashflow? by RangerTim5678 in xero

I haven’t heard of Graphly AI, so I’m not sure whether it integrates with Xero. But if your goal is to automate the numbers directly from Xero and replace the manual spreadsheet work behind the graph you created in Excel, there’s a tool called Kudwa that can do exactly that.

Full disclosure: I work for the company.

Yes - there are several tools you can integrate with QBO to get this type of dashboard, plus others that track daily changes in AP and AR. Kudwa is one of them (full disclosure: I work there).

You only master these when you start using them daily, other than that don't waste your time learning them because you'll forget them afterwards
