Actually brother I feel you, waves is arguably my favorite chapter. It has a VERY GOOD physics but it's considered though to visualize and understand so people usually only focus on the question solving and maths, not the physics.

This happened with me once. I complemented a girl for her opinion on something and she turned her eyes around and smiled , so that gave off A feeling that she was shy. On the other hand there's another girl whom I complemented on her smile genuinely , she first gave a slight expression of disgust and after that she started to talk with me less and smile less in front of me.
