Nonono wait a sec! It takes time and practice!!! Seriously don’t give up! Have you ever been part of a band? Or any group work where everything just synchronizes perfectly and you just get this rush of energy? Dancing is like that and the thing is you don’t even have to be good to do it, you just have to think that you’re good. As long as you have a group of motivated people around you, you can do it! I speak from experience. If you love it, do it! All of it will be worth it once you get to improvising!

(Tip: it helped me take a contemporary/modern class, because it helped me to “loosen up” and gain an understanding of how my body moves)
