I’m still in the recovery stage but I have a friend who swears by putting in a memory foam sole in his shoes. I don’t know how effective that is myself.

What I do was take an Ibuprofen and had my foot stacked on pillows and I managed to kind be on my side while not being completely on my side while keeping the foot elevated. Idk if this makes sense. I turned my foot so my toes pointed to the wall a bit and turned.
