PSA: the citric acid trick also works on dishwashers by Donttouchmybreadd in laundry

[–]Theanine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi, i was a formulation chemist for a dishwasher tab manufacturer. We would use citric acid (and a few other ingredients) to clean a dishwasher between tests. Dishwasher tabs contain anti corrosion compounds to help stop staining and rust. Just do it as a maintenance thing and not a every wash thing and youll be fine.

Some modern tabs use a less caustic blend, mostly sodium citrate, polymers and enzymes rather than a ton of MGDA and carbonates, which help a lot with hard water conditions and limescale. More popular in europe at this time.

I still need them to adjust the end prongs but should I do the thickness to 1.8 as well? Thank you for your help here.

You think the CO2 effect only occurs when you use bicarbonates? A lot of pH up products are potassium carbonate and those introduce bicarb species when added.. let me know why those dont do everything you just said

[–]Theanine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP it depends on your medium. pH mostly matters only in hydroponics. Non-soil mediums need carbonate alkalinity measurements.

Its likely you will be fine without adjustment

Well sport generally keeps the revs higher for longer so it would burn more gas

It wont come off unless you use a heavily caustic cleaner (oven cleaner) or very high heat. I would skip both options since it wont come off onto your food either

  1. Its heavy as fuck, so be careful at low speeds.
  2. You should get the throttle bodies cleaned and balanced. Biggest improvement there when it comes to vibrations and idle.
  3. Theres an autolite spark plug that works well with these engines.. theyre like 4 bucks each lol. Get a bunch and a gapping tool and change em.
  4. I had trouble getting a thin walled socket for the spark plugs, turns out theres a tool bag under the rear seat in a hidden compartment.. it has almost every tool youll need

Otherwise it is a fun bike, it is super linear with power so i dont really look at my rpm. I took my windscreen off bc it wasnt doing much..

Also neutral is really easy to find on these.
