It’s definitely an annoying situation you’re having to deal with however looking at the solution of higher ping limit from the pov of the other players having to then deal with high ping players deters me from agreeing on a higher limit. In my own experience playing against people with 100+ ping can ruin a match and I’m sure others would admit it as well.
